About This Role
Our client is one of India's top-5 digital payments platforms with 50 million monthly active users and a rapidly growing suite of financial products including UPI payments, credit cards, and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL). They are looking for a sharp, data-driven Product Manager to own their consumer credit product line.
About the Role
You will own the end-to-end product roadmap for consumer credit and BNPL — from ideation and user research to launch, iteration, and growth. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and risk analysts to build financial products that millions of Indians use daily. This role sits at the intersection of product, business, and technology — and requires someone who can navigate all three with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and strategy for consumer credit and BNPL
- Drive user research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Define product requirements and work closely with engineering on delivery
- Analyse product metrics daily and translate insights into product decisions
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal on regulatory requirements
- Lead go-to-market planning and coordinate across marketing and operations
Requirements
- 4-7 years of product management experience, preferably in B2C fintech or consumer apps
- Strong analytical skills — proficiency in SQL, Excel, and product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- Deep understanding of UX principles and experience working with design teams
- Familiarity with RBI regulations around digital lending and BNPL preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MBA from a premier institution or equivalent experience
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
