General Manager – Operations (Logistics & Supply Chain)

Our client is one of India's largest third-party logistics (3PL) providers, operating a network of 35 fulfilment centres and delivering 5 lakh orders per day for 500+ e-commerce brands. With rapid expansion into quick-commerce and B2B logistics, they are looking for a General Manager – Operations to own their western India business unit.

About the Role

You will have full P&L ownership for the western region — covering Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad — with 8 fulfilment centres, 800+ employees, and a revenue base of ₹180 crore. This is a complex, high-accountability leadership role that requires equal parts operational rigour, people leadership, and commercial acumen.

• Own western region P&L — revenue, cost, EBITDA, and customer SLAs
• Lead a team of 8 warehouse heads, 30 managers, and 800+ associates
• Drive operational excellence — throughput, accuracy, and cost per unit
• Manage key customer relationships and contractual SLA delivery
• Lead expansion of 3 new fulfilment centres in the region over 18 months
• Implement automation and technology initiatives to improve productivity

• 10-15 years of operations leadership experience in logistics, e-commerce, or manufacturing
• Prior P&L ownership experience across a multi-location operation
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and last-mile logistics
• Experience managing large, diverse teams (500+ headcount)
• Six Sigma or Lean certification strongly preferred
• Proficiency in operations analytics and BI tools
• MBA from a reputed institution preferred
