Our client has raised $45M Series C and is now the market leader in their category of enterprise workflow automation software. With a strong product-market fit validated by 200+ enterprise customers, they are now ready to scale their go-to-market aggressively — and they need a VP Sales who has done this before.
About the Role
This is a full P&L ownership role. You will build and lead a sales organisation of 40+ people across India, covering enterprise accounts in BFSI, manufacturing, logistics, and government. You will own the India revenue target, set the sales strategy, and be a key member of the leadership team driving the company towards its IPO ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own India enterprise revenue target (₹100 crore ARR in 24 months)
- Build, hire, and develop a sales organisation of 40+ across India
- Develop and execute the India GTM strategy across target verticals
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts
- Partner with Marketing on demand generation and pipeline development
- Represent the company at industry events and with analyst firms
- Report to the CEO and present to the Board on commercial performance
Requirements
- 12-18 years of B2B sales experience with at least 5 years in enterprise SaaS
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams from 10 to 50+ people
- Demonstrated experience closing ₹1 crore+ enterprise deals
- Deep relationships in BFSI, manufacturing, or government verticals
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics — ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV
- Experience working in a high-growth VC-backed company strongly preferred
- MBA from a premier institution preferred
