HR Business Partner – Technology Sector

Our client is a B2B SaaS company that has grown from 200 to 500 employees in 18 months and is on track to reach 1,500 by end of next year. They need a seasoned HR Business Partner who has navigated high-growth environments before and knows how to build people systems that scale without losing the culture that made the company great.

About the Role

You will be the primary HRBP for the Engineering and Product functions — approximately 300 people today, growing to 700+ over the next 18 months. You will be a trusted advisor to senior engineering leaders, helping them build high-performing teams, navigate complex people situations, and embed a culture of continuous feedback and growth.

• Serve as the strategic HR partner for Engineering and Product leadership
• Drive performance management, talent calibration, and succession planning
• Handle complex employee relations matters with empathy and sound judgment
• Partner on org design as functions scale rapidly
• Analyse people data and proactively identify trends and risks
• Lead key HR programmes — engagement surveys, manager capability, DEI initiatives

• 7-10 years of HR experience with at least 4 years in an HRBP role
• Prior experience supporting technology/engineering functions strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance in India
• Data-driven mindset — comfortable analysing people metrics and presenting insights
• MBA in HR or equivalent from a reputed institution
